Ingredients:- Curry Leaves - Dried. Curry leaves are the shiny, dark green, aromatic leaves of a tree from the citrus fruit family that release a deliciously nutty aroma when fried in hot oil. Curry leaves are used in Indian and South East Asian cuisine in the same way as bay leaves are used in the West.
The curry tree, which is native to India, produces leaves that are highly valued as seasoning in Indian & Sri Lankan cooking, (especially in curries), usually sauteed in oil with mustard seeds and asafoetida and added to dhals & lentil dishes, fresh coconut chutney or vegetable dishes. Curry leaves have antioxidant properties.
