Ingredients:- Premium N.Z. Yellow Pearl Popping Corn Kernels (microwaveable). Popcorn is a great and tasty snack, a real alternative to sugary sweets. It is low in calories and fat and rich in carbohydrates. It is 95% popping, if stored correctly, but if they have insufficient water within the starch to create the build up of pressure needed to pop the kernels, popcorn can't pop. (13.5 to 14 percent per kernel is needed).
Unpopped kernels can be rehydrated, by putting in an airtight jar/bottle, and adding a tablespoon of water, shake every 10 minutes for an hour, and leave. You can then reuse after 3 - 4 days. Add salt (if preferred) after the popcorn has been popped. (Pre-salting kernels toughens popcorn).
