Spiced Apples


  • 4 Granny Smith Apples, peeled, cored and cut into rings
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon candy flavoring
  • 1/2 cup apple juice or apple cider
  • 2-4 drops red food coloring (optional)



Preheat oven to 150 degrees.

Load apples into a shallow baking dish, making sure there are only a few layers of apples. Blend the cider, food coloring, and cinnamon flavoring together and pour over the apples.

Bake for about 10 minutes, then flip the apples. Bake for another 10 minutes.

Chill and serve cold.
