Ingredients: Light Walnut Halves. N.B. Walnuts are the only nuts that contain all Vitamins, incl A, B group, C, E, Biotin, Niacin, Folic Acid, Pantothenic Acid, and most common minerals, incl. Zinc & Copper. Walnuts are high in essential fatty acids, (EFA’s) esp. Omega-3s alpha linolenic acid (ALA). ALA is mainly found in plants - e.g. walnuts, flaxseed, wheat germ and soybeans.
Walnuts contain 70% polyunsaturated fatty acids (58% linoleic, and 12% linolenic). One oz. (28.35g) of walnuts provides 2.75g. of ALA. Walnuts contain about 14% protein.
