Ingredients:- Cranberries, Sugar, Sunflower oil (max.1%). The name cranberry comes from early pioneers who referred to them as "crane berry" because they attracted cranes. Sweetened dried cranberries, are high in vitamin C and E, and are prepared by infusing sucrose into premium cranberries, then dried to preserve colour and flavour, and lightly sprayed with oil. Nutritionally, one cup of cranberries provides 14 mg of Vitamin C, 71 mg of Potassium, and only 49 calories.
Because nearly all berries are exposed to intensive sun radiation, their skins have developed substantial quantities of antioxidants, and flavonoids. Cranberries contain almost 90% water, but when dried, 3-4 dried cranberries a day become a highly concentrated food and antioxidant supplement.
